Pre-booking is not available for the on-airport parkades — only for off-site operators.

P5 Long Stay is the cheapest official parking at Cape Town International Airport (CPT). It costs roughly R150/day for the first 5 days, then drops to approximately R65/day from day 6 onwards. A free 24/7 shuttle connects P5 to the terminal. For a 7-day trip, expect to pay around R880 total.
Short-term parking in P1 (Domestic) and P2 (International) costs: 0–15 min free, 15–30 min R22, 1–2 hours R60, each additional hour R22, with a 24-hour cap of approximately R280. These parkades are directly opposite the terminals.
No. ACSA's on-airport parkades (P1–P5) do not currently support pre-booking — you take a ticket on entry and pay on exit. Off-site operators (meet-and-greet services and park-and-fly hotels) can be pre-booked through their own sites or agents like Looking4Parking and ParkVia.
P1 is closest to the Domestic Terminal and P2 is closest to the International Terminal. Both are directly opposite their terminals with a walk under 100 metres. Use these only for short stays under 2 hours — pricing scales aggressively after that.
Yes. All ACSA parkades at CPT are fenced, CCTV-monitored, and patrolled 24/7. Incidents are rare relative to volume. Don't leave valuables visible in the car. P5 is open and busy 24/7, which is generally fine for week-long stays.
ACSA charges a R150 lost-ticket penalty plus the applicable tariff calculated on the assumed maximum stay. Bring photo ID and proof you parked at CPT (boarding pass or flight confirmation). Always photograph your ticket and bay number on entry to avoid this.
For P5: add 15–20 minutes for the shuttle on top of normal airport arrival times. For off-site meet-and-greet: add 25 minutes to hand the car over. For P1–P4: standard airport arrival timing applies (90 min domestic, 3 hrs international).
